DALLAS – September 16, 2016 – Bridging the gap between north and south Dallas, education and opportunity, Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep has announced the sponsors of its inaugural Grove to Grove event, which will be held at 3015 at Trinity Groves on Friday, September 23, 2016. The event will kick off at 7 p.m. with a cocktail hour and entertainment by Cristo Rey Dallas students. NBC 5’s Deborah Ferguson will interview four Cristo Rey Dallas students to highlight the work of the school. Guests also will enjoy live entertainment, a seated dinner and live auction.
Funds raised through event sponsorships, the silent auction and the generous donations of event attendees will support the work and founding mission of the school — to provide students from underserved communities a rigorous college prep education combined with valuable professional work experience in partnership with Dallas’ top businesses, enabling them to rise out of generational poverty to become men and women of purpose and service.
