Uplift Luna Preparatory, 2625 Elm Street,  students participated in a “College March” on Friday, Dec. 11. Approximately 100 seniors submitted their college applications as fellow students in grades kindergarten through 11th grade cheered them on with help from the Luna faculty and staff, family members, local business and community leaders.  Many of the students that participated in the March are the first in their families to apply to college.

Capital One Bank has supported the College March, which originated in the NYC Outward Bound Schools network, since its inception in 2011. Capital One Bank representatives and volunteers attended the local College March and participated in th pep rally assembly.
