The Dallas Can Academy Pleasant Grove Campus boy’s basketball team recently traveled to Austin in hope of returning home with a trophy to add to the shelf. The team competed in the state charter school championship basketball tournament.

The team performed well on and off the court, having fun and representing Dallas Can Academy to the best of their ability. This team overcame many obstacles and adversities throughout the season and in their personal lives.  With their coaches’ support the players remained focused on their goal and worked hard for a victory, winning the Texas Charter School Academic and Athletic League (TCSAAL) State Championship.
