Lace up your sneakers and get ready to strut! It’s time for the SPCA of Texas’ 14th annual Strut Your Mutt, the Race to End Animal Cruelty, presented by Hill’s Pet Nutrition and VCA Animal Hospitals! On May 11th, join more than 3,000 pups and their people for a 5K timed run at 8:30 am or 3K fun run/walk at 9:30 am. Both start at the base of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge near Trinity Groves and cross over the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge!

In addition to the walk, strutters will enjoy mimosas and refreshments, as well as free hot dogs and hamburgers. We will also have plenty of family-fun events for you to enjoy in our Bow-Wow-Bazaar, which will include vendor booths, activities for pets and kids, demonstrations and more!

The goal of Strut Your Mutt is to raise awareness about animal cruelty and what people can do to help animals in crisis. If you suspect animal cruelty contact local law enforcement or report it to the SPCA of Texas. All money raised at the run will support the SPCA of Texas’ wide array of programs and services, and help the organization rescue, rehome and rehabilitate thousands of animals.
